What does the certificate of authenticity contain?
Each certificate should identify the artist, title, year, medium, image and framed dimensions, edition number and total edition size, signature, issue date, gallery reference and the work’s identifying image. Studio 54 Fine Art confirms the final certificate fields for the specific work before payment.

The register records the title, edition number, buyer transaction and certificate reference so an edition cannot be allocated twice. The treatment and number of artist’s proofs remain disclosed for the selected work and are disclosed before purchase.

How is this work made?
Lee Sie works outdoors and uses a considered digital process to develop photographs beyond straightforward documentation. The precise camera capture, editing workflow, paper, inks, mounting and glazing for each edition are supplied before purchase.

Longevity depends on the confirmed paper, ink, mounting system, glazing and display conditions. Until the laboratory specification and testing basis are supplied, no fixed display-life claim is responsible; buyers receive the exact material specification and care requirements for the work offered.

An original is a unique physical work; a limited edition is one of a declared finite number of authorised impressions; an open print has no fixed maximum. Lee Sie works offered here are described edition by edition, with the number and proof practice confirmed in writing.

Keep the work away from direct sunlight, radiators, damp walls and rapid changes in temperature or humidity. Do not spray cleaner onto the surface. Dust the frame with a clean, dry cloth and ask the gallery or framer before cleaning any glazing or face-mounted acrylic.

A current condition report can be requested before purchase and should record the image surface, mount, frame, glazing, verso, labels and any visible defect. Any known restoration or replacement component is disclosed in writing; timing is agreed for the selected work.

How is the price of an edition set?
Edition size, dimensions, production and framing costs, the artist’s exhibition and auction record, scarcity and position within an edition can affect price. Lee Sie prices are supplied on enquiry because size, framing, edition position and delivery destination must first be confirmed.

No. Exhibition history, edition scarcity and recorded sales are factual context, not promises of value. Studio 54 Fine Art can discuss future consignment assistance, but resale acceptance, timing and price are never guaranteed.

How large should artwork be above a sofa?
A useful starting point is an artwork width around two-thirds to three-quarters of the furniture below it, centred at roughly 145–150 cm from the floor to the artwork’s centre. Room proportions, viewing distance and frame reflectivity can justify a different placement.

Yes. The final offer should state image and framed dimensions in centimetres and inches, plus depth and packed or installed weight where known. These figures are confirmed for the selected configuration rather than inferred from a website image.

Use diffuse, high-colour-rendering light and avoid a source aimed directly at the glazing. Acrylic face-mounts can reflect windows and spotlights, so the room visualisation should account for viewing angle, daylight and any proposed picture light.

What do I own when I buy the artwork?
You own the physical artwork, while Lee Sie retains copyright and reproduction rights. You may display it privately or publicly, lend it to an exhibition, resell it, and photograph it for insurance or personal records, subject to any written loan conditions.

Commercial reproduction, merchandise, advertising use, licensing, NFT creation or digital minting requires prior written permission from the copyright holder. Ownership of the physical work does not transfer those rights.

How is the work packed and shipped?
Packing, crating, courier, transit insurance limit and delivery timetable are quoted for the selected size and destination. Studio 54 Fine Art offers insured worldwide delivery and can arrange white-glove handling.

The written delivered estimate identifies whether duties, brokerage and import VAT are included or payable by the recipient. Rules differ across the UK, EU, UAE and USA, so the destination-specific positionis confirmed in the work-specific quote.

Buyers receive the applicable cancellation, condition, packaging, return-shipping and refund terms in writing before payment; the site does not invent a right or restriction that has not been confirmed.
